If you have a blog or you read blogs (should be all of us) then you have seen the "Subscribe to this blog by email" feature. We wrote a blog post a week or so ago about how important offering this kind of feature is. This feature often provided by 3rd party services like feedburner or feedblitz etc. Ive never really been happy with these services…
- Email Newsletter design formatting (boring text doesnt look like my blog)
- Cant manage and import email contacts
- Cant control sending dates / posts
- Cant report who actually uses it

Yeah, I’ve used it. This was 2 months ago. But with not much love at all. Why?
1) deliverability issues – just didn’t get its act together. Lots of emails got stuck in the pipes, and there’s lots of grumbling around about inability to deliver to Yahoo.
2) formatting difficulty – it’s not the easiest thuing in the world to define formatting in Wordpress or Blogger RSS2.0/Atom feeds. Some of Zookoda’s formatting tweaks require this.
3) relatively quiet community – only 14 posts in the forums.
